{"id":5565,"date":"2018-10-05T12:34:01","date_gmt":"2018-10-05T19:34:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sdbgdocents.org\/?page_id=5565"},"modified":"2018-10-05T12:35:04","modified_gmt":"2018-10-05T19:35:04","slug":"cart-driver","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/sdbgdocents.org\/?page_id=5565","title":{"rendered":"Cart Driver"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><strong>Cart Driver (13 and 6-8 Passenger Shuttles)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<h1>General Description:<\/h1>\n<p>Under the direction of the Operations Department, the Cart Driver is responsible for shuttling guests safely on a predesignated route during SDBG events.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 32px;\">Duties:<\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Check in and out by radioing Manager on Duty.<\/li>\n<li>Shuttle visitors safely during SDBG events.<\/li>\n<li>SDBG \u201cAmbassador\u201d while shuttling visitors to designated destination(s).<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to all items on the Passenger Shuttle Driving Check-Off List while operating the shuttle (see Attachment A)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Specific Skills:<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Must be trained to drive a Passenger Shuttle by an authorized SDBG staff member.<\/li>\n<li>General knowledge of the operation of the Passenger shuttle<\/li>\n<li>Must have a valid California driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<li>Must be a current SDBG volunteer\/docent<\/li>\n<li>Must have an understanding of the rules, regulations, and shuttle routes throughout the Garden.<\/li>\n<li>Must know how to use a radio and have one at all times while a driving shuttle.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Time Required:<\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Century Gothic',sans-serif;\">Time required as indicated for a particular shift.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 32px;\">Recommended Term:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>2 years<\/p>\n<h2>Revised:<\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>Revision Date:\u00a0\u00a006\/22\/2018<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Click <a href=\"http:\/\/sdbgdocents.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Cart_Driver_Description_20181005.pdf\">here<\/a> for a printable version<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cart Driver (13 and 6-8 Passenger Shuttles) General Description: Under the direction of the Operations Department, the Cart Driver is responsible for shuttling guests safely on a predesignated route during SDBG events.
