Board Member at Large<\/strong><\/h1>\n

General Description:<\/h2>\n

Act as an intermediary between the Docent Executive Board and Docents, passing along relevant communications. Present Volunteers of the Month awards at monthly Docent\/volunteer meetings.<\/p>\n

Duties:<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Represent the Docent Executive Board (DEB) as an intermediary between the DEB and Docents\/volunteers.<\/li>\n
  2. Be open to comments, suggestions and issues and pass them to the DEB, as appropriate.<\/li>\n
  3. Attend DEB meetings on the third Wednesday of the month.<\/li>\n
  4. Using prewritten notes, introduce the Volunteer of the Month at the monthly Docent\/Volunteer meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Specific Skills:<\/h2>\n

    \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Have a solid familiarity with the Docents and their positions<\/li>\n
    2. Good judgement and listening skills<\/li>\n
    3. Ability to exercise strict confidentiality<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      One-two hours\/month<\/p>\n
