I am asking for your help. I am working with Jill Gardner to move the Garden’s volunteer management to Volgistics which is a database designed for the purpose. We now have all the docents and volunteers in the database and the next step is to start using its features.

There are two ways that people can log their time:-
Log in when one arrives at the Garden, which you have been using.
Log in using a computer.

One of the reasons for the implementation of this process is to know who is in the Garden both for safety reasons and to know who to contact if someone tests positive for Covid-19.

The calendar part of Volgistics has not been implemented yet.

You will have to go through a normal online process of entering a password of your choice when you receive an email.

This is not the six-digit number you use to log in if you go to the garden.

Once you get to the site it should look like this:

Select the date that you want to record hours for. Then select which assignment and the time.

When entering the date if you just enter the month and day and press enter it will add the year. For just one day enter the same date twice.

If you could record a few hours and let me know how it goes it would be a great help. You can also use this to see how you are doing.

Please note that, until we have everybody assigned to areas and Volgistics can supply all the information on volunteer hours,  it is still necessary to submit your hours by using the Docent/Volunteer website.
