Archives Recorder
General Description:
Assists Museum Curator and the History and Archives Specialist in organizing and maintaining archive documents and photographic collections and records.
Duties:
- Assist in document collection storage and organization.
- Assist in photographic collection storage and organization.
- Record information about new acquisitions in archive collection records.
- Record information in document collection records.
- Record information in photographic collection records.
Specific Skills:
- Organizational skills
- Research skills
- Interest in history
- Computer database skills
- Librarian training and experience (optional)
- Museum collection skills (optional)
Time Required:
10 hours/month. More when needs dictate.
