Volunteer Hours Recorder- Job Description

 

General description:

 

The Volunteer Hours Recorder records all submitted Volunteer Hours and reports the totals to Director of Operations twice a year – end of June and end of December.

Duties:

  • End of each month send a list of Volunteer Milestone names to the Docent Hours Recorder.
  • Prepare Volunteer Milestone Awards to be handed out at General Meeting
  • Encourage volunteers to submit their hours regularly
  • Attend monthly General Meeting

Specific Skills:-

Computer knowledge

Be organized and able to meet deadlines

Attention to detail

Diplomacy and tact

Should have attended DIT classes and become a docent

Helps to know who volunteers are.

 

Time required – 10 to 15 hours a month
