Propagation Associate

 

General Description:

Under the direction of the Propagation Coordinator(s), help propagate plants and refurbish donated plants for future sale.

Duties:

1. Propagate plants following a list managed by the Propagation Coordinator(s).
2. Volunteer during the specified propagation times of Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9:00 – 12:00 p.m.
3. Ensure the Propagation area is maintained in a safe, orderly and efficient manner

Specific Skills:

1. General knowledge of plant production and growth helpful
2. Desire to learn about plants
3. Organizational skills
4. Ability to follow direction
5. Ability to do moderate physical activity: bending, standing and lifting

Time Required:

4 – 6 hours/week
